Descend is part of an ongoing enquiry, using mountains and landscape to highlight the relationship humans have with the natural world. I’m interested in how the scale and majesty of these places can humble perspectives of the human experience, and create dialogue around connection or separation from the natural world. Themes of environmental degradation and the devastating effects of climate change feature heavily in this work.
